The emergence of parkour in the Balkans in the mid-2000s demanded serious clothes to withstand the task of rolling on the remains of socialist concrete. And believe us – that is some hard-core concrete. So at the end of 2010, we started to cut some textile and mix it up. We are still doing it, but now with much more knowledge and experience. Cargo Jacket – Strides

Cargo Jacket – Strides is designed and built to be useful to the level of taking it to every occasion. Strides Jacket is made of twill, a sturdy fabric made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane. Diagonally woven and with a soft and gentle finish, this fabric is extremely durable against all the concrete we love to roll on. But this isn’t all. Since twill doesn’t have enough elasticity to allow us every motion we desire, we implemented a hack. Strides Jacket has inserts of elastic fabric on the sides and under the arms, allowing the full range of motion this way. These inserts are made of a super elastic thick cotton/lycra blend. Shaped to allow you all the freedom of movement, while not disturbing the elegant sporty look of the Cargo Jacket – Strides. Hacks and gadgets do not end here. This jacket is part of the CARGO collection – meaning that it has fully functional pockets to keep your stuff safe, but also to keep them dry! The fabric used for large cargo pockets is hi-tech waterproof polyamide and it won’t let any rain mess with your after-training chocolate bar (or whatever you like to snack).   Here are the main characteristics of Skochy’s Cargo Jacket – Strides:

• The large part under the arms and around the shoulders is made of a *very* elastic cotton blend, enabling a wide variety of motion
• Deep pockets on the sides
• Large and waterproof cargo pockets on the sides of your legs, closed with snaps
• Hidden zipped pocket inside of the left cargo pocket
• Two straps in the front, for hanging your stuff or your thumbs
• Highest quality embroidery and emblems, no printing
• It isn’t padded but will keep you warm from the winds and moderate cold days

We always engage with professionals when it comes to creating the cut. Every part of the design process is done by the Skochypstiks team. Proudly being a part of the parkour community makes us realize not only our needs when it comes to parkour clothing but the needs of other practitioners as well. Why Skochy clothes?

All Skochy items are our original cut and design, created in our Skochypstiks studio. The fabrics we use hold the OEKO TEX STANDARD 100 certification, so you can be sure no harmful substances have been used in creating the material. When it comes to cutting and sewing, it is all done locally in Serbia – because supporting the community is our priority, whether it is the world parkour community or our local workers. Our packaging contains no plastic – only cardboard and paper. By supporting Skochy you are supporting parkour and movers all around the globe, and encouraging at least one small local business.
