Welcome to the world of professional parkour and freerunning clothing
The emergence of parkour in the Balkans in mid 2000s demanded serious clothes to withstand the task of rolling on the remains of socialist concrete. And believe us – that is some hard-core concrete. So at the end of 2010, we started to cut some textile and mix it up. We are still doing it, but now with much more knowledge and experience. Welcome to Skochypstiks Clothing – the world where parkour gear is shaped by the needs of people in motion.
Why Iron Sweatshirt – Coffee?
Our Iron Sweatshirt – Coffee is a long raglan sleeve sweatshirt with special geometrically designed cuts on sleeves, in the same way playing with the face and back-face of the fabric. Its shape and choice of fabric result in exquisite durability and unique looks, and many parkour and freerunning athletes find it perfect for all their activities, some of them listed below:
- Training outdoors
- Training indoors
- Casual business meet
- Hiking
- Lawn mowing
- Cooking
- Watching sunsets
- Grabbing it in the morning while you’re still sleepy (you won’t even feel which side is front and which is back because both are so soft
The original Skochy cut of a sweatshirt is for every activity you can think of. Made for people in motion, by people in motion.
Take a look at our IRON Sweatshirts in Instagram.
If the Coffee isn’t just the right color for you, you can check the same Iron cut of sweats in Ivory, Black, Yellow, besides our swampy shade of Iron Croco!
But why the name ‘Iron’?
The very first Iron Sweatshirt we made was in grey color, and its sharp cuts on sleeves represented strength and firmness. So the first thought was – Iron! Maybe something like Iron-man. Nevertheless we didn’t name it steel instead, and here it is now: an Iron Sweatshirt.
Why Skochy clothes?
For us, it is sustainable or nothing. If you can’t do something forever, then it just isn’t sustainable. Each Skochy item is made with great care, in a cut that points out the elegant sporty look of a profound parkour practitioner.
Slow fashion is the way.
Once we establish a cut and design of an item, and once it is proven to be motion friendly by practitioners around the globe, we stick with it. Skochy doesn’t offer items whose style depends on season and trends. Our range of gear is timeless and durable for many years of serious training.
All Skochy items are our original cut and design, created in our Skochypstiks studio. The fabrics we use hold the OEKO TEX STANDARD 100 certification, so you can be sure no harmful substances have been used in creating the material. When it comes to cutting and sewing, it is all done locally in Serbia – because supporting the community is our priority, whether it is the world parkour community or our local workers. Our packaging contains no plastic – only cardboard and paper. By supporting Skochy you are supporting parkour and movers all around the globe, and encouraging at least one small local business.
Wear it happily and stay in motion, always.
